We just recently discovered Hamilton park which is a great place to ride bikes.  The kids had so much fun practicing their skills.  

This afternoon Grandma, Piper and mommy visited the Norton Simon museum.  It was a gorgeous sunny day and we spent a good chunk of time out in the gardens after seeing the paintings.  They had an event for kids where they learned about an artist featured at the museum then they were able to draw something similar to their work.  Today’s artist was Henri Rousseau.  Below is Piper working hard.   Her photo of the jungle. Piper and grandma enjoying a Degas painting Piper really loved all the paintings of flowers

We have peacocks living in our neighborhood.  This guy was checking out our front yard and hopped up on our roof.

One night Piper read to everyone before bed.  She loves reading!

On Sunday afternoon we spent the afternoon walking around the arboretum.  We explored a new area above the waterfall today which was beautiful.  It was a great day to be out.  the view above the waterfall looking down.
