Groundhogs Day!

The weather this weekend felt like Spring and it’s hard to believe we could see snow tomorrow. Andrew had a great time hanging outside with the neighbors.
We took a trip out to Barr Lake to see the Bald Eagles
They are way out there on the ice
  • Getting ready for the big game by
  • making football cupcakes.
A crazy drop from 75 to -2 on Tuesday. We will see what this Arctic storm brings in. Stay tuned.

The Weekend

Andrew made a Mario cart creation at a kids wood working shop on Saturday.
Piper had friends over from school on Friday night.
We went ice skating in Louisville on Sunday afternoon.
A train went by as we were ice skating which was pretty neat.

Winter Park Weekend

We drove up to Winter Park in the late afternoon on Sunday to avoid the traffic and skied on Monday. We found a last minute deal and stayed in the Village. It was fun to be right there! Monday was a gorgeous day to ski! Just blue skies, no crowds and no wind.

Piper skied a Blue/Black Hill which was a challenge for her. She did great!
That little speck is Piper with the Village in the background. It was so nice to ski without the crowds.
