Merry Christmas

What a fun morning we had with the kids.  It was so special to celebrate Andrew’s first Christmas.  Piper enjoyed opening up gifts from Santa but she still doesn’t understand who he is.  All she asked for was a flashlight and Santa brought her a pink one.  She was thrilled!  Piper was also excited to receive a tricycle, fishing set and tee-ball.  Andrew just loved playing with all the wrapping paper.  Later that evening we enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner.

No need for Grandpa to wait for Drew to play baseball.  Piper already loves it!!  She played tee-ball all afternoon long with him and can really hit the ball!

The Merriest

Merry Christmas Eve.  We woke up to warm sunny skies and a delicious breakfast of pancakes and eggs.  Grandma and Grandpa took Piper to the park in the afternoon to enjoy the sun.  Then that evening Piper and Andrew opened up presents from Grandma and Grandpa.  They received so many great gifts but one of Piper’s favorite was a basketball hoop.  She couldn’t wait to wake up in the morning and play more basketball.  Looks like Grandpa has an athlete already in Piper.

Andrew and Santa

We hit the mall in all this rain so Andrew could sit on Santa’s lap.  He seemed very happy up there and didn’t cry.  (Our scanned photo of the original didn’t turn out too well.)

Doesn’t Santa’s face just say “I love kids”.  This guy is definitely enjoying his job….ha
