Evening Exploring
We went out exploring late afternoon to another park near our house. This one only had climbing contraptions. After that we walked to our favorite Italian place for dinner.
A beautiful walking and biking trail that takes you all the way through Stapleton.
They gave the kids dough to shape and bake before dinner.
Reading with Gerald and Piggie! (Thank you, Grandma for the stuffed animals!)
Denver Museum of Nature and Science
The kids were able to enroll in a program where they have free access to recreational centers and culture facilities. On Tuesday we checked out the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The museum was really well done. It was almost too much to check out in one day. We can’t wait to go back!
How cool that all these dinosaurs once roamed where we live now.
There was a whole section devoted to health that was all interactive. What fun!

Eldorado Springs
We did a day trip and drove out to Eldorado Springs to swim. It’s a natural mineral pool that is fed directly by a constant flow from an artesian spring. It was a bit chilly but didn’t take long to get used to the temperature. We had a great time! The setting was so beautiful. The slide was the highlight of the day!
