Tuesday we skied at Eldora because the teachers are unfortunately on strike. We had the place to ourselves. The kids did so well that we stayed on the main part of the mountain for the afternoon. We can’t wait to go back!

Tackling the intermediate slopes!
We went to the Eldora Ski Resort on Saturday and worked on our turns. The kids did great and picked it up quickly. Our last run of the day was on an intermediate hill where we got to take the big chair lift up. 
It was a beautiful snowy day on Wednesday. We went sledding after dinner when it wasn’t crowded. Then the kids finally got their wish of a snow day. School was canceled due to the roads and the very cold temperatures. 
Went to Barr Lake to see the Bald Eagles that have stopped by on their migration South. There must have been at least 50 of them around the lake. It was amazing to watch them fly around looking for fish in the lake and see them so close perched in the trees. They have a pair that nest there year round. The nest is massive in size even from far away.
