Ruckle Park

One of our favorite places was Ruckle Park. There was a beautiful hiking trail right along the water and lots of coves to explore. We even saw Orca’s the one morning.

The kids had so much fun playing in the coves and on the trail

Dining at Rock Salt at the Fulford Harbour

Fernwood and Beddis Beach

We spent some time at a few beaches looking for oysters and other sea creatures.

Mt. Erskine Hike

We did a short but steep hike up Mt. Erskine for some stunning views!

The special thing about this hike is finding all the fairy doors that were created by locals.

Moss covered everything on the hike and we really did feel like we were walking among fairies

Artist Studio Tour

There are so many artists living on Salt Spring. You can visit up to 20 artists on a studio tour all over the island. We wish we would have seen more.

Lavender and Black

After doing some shopping and exploring all the different kids of lavender we enjoyed the view!

Salt Spring Island Goat Cheese

Another favorite stop on the studio tour was at Salt Spring Island Goat Cheese. Everything there was delicious and again the surroundings were beautiful!
