Family Fun Day

It was a fun filled weekend.  Today our first stop was the Reagan Library.  We toured the Lincoln exhibit, Air Force One and had lunch.  Then we moved on to Underwood Farms to pick lots of produce.  The night ended with an impromptu gathering and dinner at our neighbors house.  Yesterday we also did some putting at the local putting greens.  It was one great weekend!DSC_0433 A morning ride with the President.  (this is the kid’s favorite spot of the library)DSC_0436 DSC_0430 We saw lots of neat things at the Lincoln exhibitDSC_0441 Yay! A Very Fun Friday!

This afternoon we took a trip down to Sony Studios to visit Daddy at work.  We got to walk around the beautiful grounds and have lunch.  The best part is there is a yogurt place right outside of daddy’s building!!  The kids had so much fun.  Andrew kept calling the rainbow “daddy’s rainbow”.  We hope to go back to visit again soon!  Then we went swimming over in Sierra Madre in the later afternoon.  They have a pool that only goes to 3 feet deep so the kids could touch.  I don’t know why it took us this long to discover it.  Piper was swimming all around like a fish and Drew even was brave enough to bounce around on his own.  We will definitely be going back there!DSC_0416 DSC_0424 What a great entrance to a beautiful place to work!IMG_2987 Yes!  Yogurt!DSC_0426DSC_0411 This made mommy happy! Steve’s Songs

Tonight we went to the children’s concert series at the Levitt Pavilion in Old Town.  Mr. Steve from PBS was performing (fans of PBS kids shows should recognize him).  It was a fun evening.  We took the train over, had a picnic dinner, met our daddy and even got to meet Steve.  DSC_0408 Mr. Steve himself!IMG_2976 waiting for the trainIMG_2979 DSC_0409
