Cambria and Paso Robles

DSC_0132On Sunday we headed up the coast to the town of Cambria.  We stopped there for breakfast and walked around Moonstone Drive.  The tide was in so there wasn’t much to see in the tide pools.  This area has been affected by the drought.  The restaurants are serving bottled water and there are signs everywhere to conserve.  Even the public restrooms have been replaced by porto-potties to reserve water.DSC_0140 DSC_0149 DSC_0150 IMG_3808 The Cambria scarecrow festival was going on. The town was filled with all sorts of scarecrows that were so creatively done.  It was neat to see.DSC_0152 Here are a few.IMG_3824 IMG_3826 IMG_3834 After Cambria we drove into the valley to Paso Robles.  We stopped at a few wineries.  Above is a photo from Niner.  It’s beautiful there.IMG_3829 Another view of the vineyards.IMG_3830
