With Grandma Jeannie in town this little girl has been nothing but smile and laughter.  She’s been one groovy girl and winning everyone over with her looks and beautiful smile.  Today she took a trip into old town Pasadena and got to see the sights to a beautiful picture perfect day here in Southern California (so beautiful we didn’t get any pictures, we’ll owe you for next time).

Piper has been amazingly social and showed off some of her new physical abilities for Mom and Grandma today.  She performed her magic by turning over on her own power!  Dad was out of the room but she showed off her strength for those in attendance.  She surprised herself too and didn’t actually know what happened.  Maybe tomorrow we’ll see some more, but tonight let’s all hope for 6 hours of sleep. Please, please, please!!!

After a day of rest and eating, Piper woke up to see that Grandma Snitger came back!!  She was so excited that she decided tonight would be her first night out to celebrate!  So off we went to the same restaurant where only a few months earlier mom & dad ate a meal which set the labor in motion for Piper’s arrival.  She must have liked the place so much that she had to return to see what it looks like on the other side of the tummy.

All the excitement makes for one active baby!  Last night she had quite a rest and went down for nearly 6 hours straight!  We’re hoping she liked that enough where she wants to try it again.  I guess people can hope can’t they?

Didn’t take long for Piper to make her way onto the set of her first shoot.  Aunt Becca took great pride in showing her off to the whole cast and crew of the commercial shoot she was working on in Pasadena.  Piper made all sorts of friends and won them over with her adorable new found smile and outfit.  Her agent will be in touch!

More importantly, her biggest fan Grandma Snitger will be here tomorrow to lend support to the rising star.  Well, she may change a diaper or two and take a nap here and there as well.  Looking forward to having her back and can’t wait for her mid-day arrival.  Right now Piper is drawing a bath so she’s nice and clean for tomorrow.

Hard to believe that Piper is 7 weeks old already.  So much eating time, so much sleepy time and recently lots of awake and interactive time.  It’s been fun to look back at photos and see how much she’s changed.  She’s so sweet and we’re very much in love! 

Today Piper played alot, was very social and handed out smiles like candy.  She can’t wait to show off her new moves for Grandma Snitger in a few days!  I’m sure Grandma and Piper will pick up right from where they left off.

It was a really cool Sunday so Piper had to bundle up for her walk.  Doesn’t she look cute in her little bear outfit?  She stayed snug as a bug while we walked and was able to enjoy a nice long nap.  Speaking of sleeping.  Last night Piper slept a total of 6 hours straight.  We hope this continues!!  

Piper had a nice weekend with the Grandma & Grandpa Deelo and she was glad they could make it out to visit.  Had a really nice time just hanging out, hope to see you again soon!
